Mrs John Lawrence
Mrs. John Lawrence, whose maiden name was Margaret Hume, was born in Scotland 73 years ago. She came to the Inglow area in 1883. Four years later she was united in marriage to John Lawrence when they took up their residence one mile south of Inglow, where they have since lived. With the husband is left a family of five daughters and three sons, namely: Mrs. R. Shea, Browning, Sask; Mrs. Thos. Hanton, Macklin, Sask.; Mrs. Peckover, Sperling, Man.; Mrs. Alex Fraser, Inglow, Man.; James and John at Browning, Sask. and William on the home farm at Inglow. One sister, Miss Hume lives at Cordova and another out west.
The funeral to Madford cemetery on Monday was largely attended by neighbors and friends who held in the highest esteem the deceased and the bereaved family.
